The Bright was Bright for CRÈME:

After months, weeks and final hectic days of preparation of designs, sampling and the show booth, we finally arrived at the Bright Trade Show in Frankfurt on 15 January 2010. After a manic set up on Friday, our crew managed to pull out all the stops and almost created a miracle in our room, No 25. Have a look what mess the room was in when we took it over on that said day, and have a look what our crew did to it in the end. After all that blood and sweat, everybody was just happy that the room looked good, the boards were up on the wall and the clothing and accessories had a place to hang. We didn’t really expect much to come of Saturday. But to our great joy, room No 25 was packed all day long and the vibe was rocking. It seemed that people liked what we have done in the last few years and that made it all worth it.

After the obligatory Mexican party dinner on Saturday night, with your obligatory cheap and nasty Tequila, Sunday was a bit slower for all of us who were nursing hangovers. Still, the day went great, right to the end at 5 o’clock, before the weary Crème Team started pulling down the booth. A great weekend behind us we are tired but happy working on catching up with all the requests from the show.

A big thanks to the Crème team for their huge effort at set up, during the show and at the end. A big thanks to all the retailers that stopped by and the same to the reps who stopped by and joined our team.

CRÈME – SUPPORTING EUROPEAN SKATEBOARDING .... FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE!

After returning from Asia and reflecting on the days we had, I am only too pleased to let you all in on my thoughts: Anyone who has been to Hong-Kong and especially China knows it is not the easiest of places. The security tried to disturb our plans and on a dailly basis, we were moved on, if only a few more attempts, and time to warm up, we would have been all the more happier, but it was not meant to be and the crew really stepped it up when needed.

We all had a laugh when it came to food, especially in China, not knowing what we were eating - CATS?? DOGS?? - who knows, and their were times, that we ordered and we had NO IDEA!!!  Chicken feet was the dare but no-one took the challenge.

It was my first trip with the Creme team - I am totally impressed, we had a great mix of experience with the likes of Rodney Clarke, Tomas Vintr, Bertrand Soubrier and a great array of youngbloods, Dan McDermott, Maxim Habanec, Alex Geisler and Patrick "Brownie" Pittl.

It was my pleasure to experience this trip with these guys, I witnessed some awesome skating, and I look forward to being apart of many more trips in the future.

I would also like to say thank you to our photographers Landon Stirling and Cedric Bourout and our #1 filmer Cedric Quintin - you guys were always positive and helped to keep the boys motivated. Cheers...

A big thank you to our guides and translators Thai (Hong Kong) and Cyres (Shenzhen) - you guys rocked. Also X-Games in Hong-Kong were instrumental in helping make  our stay most enjoyable - thanks Chris and Ken...

The Crème International Team landed in Hong-Kong!!!

The Crème Skate Team from all over Europe met at Munich Airport and left for their skate trip to Hong-Kong, Shenzhen and Macau. After spending 22 hours waiting, sitting, eating, sleeping, travelling, … the guys finally got there.

On their way to the hotel the team could already get the first impressions about the Chinese Skyline and they couldn’t wait to roll on their Crème boards and show us the first tricks!!!

Unfortunately, the jet lag is stronger and they had to rest the first night. Nevertheless the delicious Chinese food helped them to be prepared and motivated for a great foto and film shooting the next day..
